Walk-in-Interview for Junior Research Fellowship at CAIR DRDO

The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR) a prestigious institute of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) invites young Indian talents for Junior Research Fellowships in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Operating Systems.

• Graduate degree in a professional course (BE/BTech) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/Information Science in 1st Division from an AICTE accredited Institute/University with a valid CSIR-UGC (NET)/GATE qualification. 

OR

• Post Graduate degree in a professional course (ME/MTech) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/Information Science in 1st Division at both Graduate & Post Graduate level from an AICTE accredited Institute/University.

In addition to educational qualifications notification also specifies some desirable skills and experiences the potential candidates need to have in them. These criteria are as follows:

• Proficiency in the design and analysis of algorithms.
• Knowledge of deep learning architecture, Natural Language Processing, and Python, PyTorch. (OR) Proficiency in system programming and C/C++.
• Experience in utilizing open-source system development frameworks.

How to apply for the DRDO fellowship?

Potential candidates can submit their online application forms available for download on the DRDO website and email them to the designated address. The last date for submission of the application is 21st July 2023. After shortlisting of applications, selected candidates will be invited for a walk-in interview at CAIR on the 29 July 2023.

What is the selection procedure for the DRDO fellowship?

Selected candidates called up for the interview will have to go through a written test on the same day. Those who qualify for the test will be interviewed either on the same day or on 30 July. Then after, a merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the interview.
