Visa has announced the appointment of Murali Nair, as the Head of Client Relationship Management, India, and Manmeet Vohra as the Marketing Head, India and South Asia in a move to reinforce its leadership team for the region.
Murali most recently served as the Senior Vice President, Market Development for Mastercard, South Asia and brings a wealth of knowledge to Visa with over 24 years of strategic experience in payments and digital products across India, Middle East and Africa. Prior to Mastercard, Murali was the CEO for Pinpoint India, a global leader in Loyalty Marketing. Previously, he held senior positions at Barclays, Deutsche Bank, and Citibank.
Murali will lead Visa’s market development activities across the region. He will lead the company’s efforts in managing key client relationships while driving product issuance, expanding Visa’s client base as well as helping enhance client experience across the Visa network. An engineer from NIT, Tiruchirapalli, Murali also holds an MBA from IIM- Calcutta.
Manmeet most recently led the marketing of Starbucks in India and comes with 15 years of strategic marketing and rich retail brand management experience. She led brand building of Starbucks, and TAG Heuer brands in India from their early days besides working for L'Oreal. A graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, she is a post graduate from the MICA, Ahmedabad. Manmeet takes over the management of Visa’s India and South Asia marketing team to drive overall strategy and execution including consumer and retail marketing, loyalty and digital & mobile experience across the region.
