VirtusaPolaris' CPO Sundararajan Narayanan Recognized Among 2016 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans

VirtusaPolaris, the brand of Virtusa Corporation and Polaris, announced that the company’s chief people officer (CPO), Sundararajan Narayanan, has been named among the 2016 Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business by the Asian-American Business Development Center.

The Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business Awards is the only forum to highlight the achievements of Asian-American business professionals across the U.S.  Award recipients represent a microcosm of the best Asian-American entrepreneurs, professionals and corporate executives engaged in a wide range of business interests, and all of whom have a role in driving the U.S. economy.

“The award honors individuals and serves to encourage the development of talent and leadership of Asian-Americans,” said John Wang, founder and president of the Asian-American Business Development Center. “We extend our congratulations to Sundararajan and all other recipients of this year’s award for their contributions to both the U.S. economy and the continued business interests of Asian-Americans.”

In his role at VirtusaPolaris, Narayanan focuses on building a digital ready people organization, rich in diversity and reflecting the strong cultural values of the company. Narayanan has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources and related disciplines within the information technology industry.  He has previously held senior leadership positions in global companies, spanning compensation and benefits, training, leadership development, employee relationship management, recruitment and business HR facilitation.
