Urban Ladder, India's online furniture and home décor company has announced the launch of the newest feature which is part of the Urban Ladder app – an innovative solution that gives users the power to design their home in minutes. With this feature, users can conveniently visualize and put their entire room together before buying the furniture and décor products for their home. This innovative feature gives an app user the ability to design their own home and create millions of room looks with Urban Ladder products.
The feature is extremely user friendly and simple to use. To experience this feature, one needs to choose a background and flooring that best resemble those of the room they would like to create, then select products from Urban Ladder’s collection to see how the chosen items look together before one decides to buy them. The images of the products can be rotated and placed according to the space that best suits a user’s taste.
Once the app users have created a look, they can submit their look to be featured on the Urban Ladder website and app for other visitors to get inspired to create beautiful homes. One has the option of buying all the items or particular items in the look that they have self-created or choose from the looks that other users have created and shared for inspiration.
The app was conceptualized by the Urban Ladder team and the user experience is designed after in-depth research and due to the high traction that company gets from its mobile app and purchases. The team at Urban Ladder has observed the consumer behaviour and the gradient shift of consumer demands from product solutions to complete room solutions.
“We want to continuously empower our customers to build beautiful homes. This feature was designed with a view to provide a simple yet powerful solution to help Indian home shoppers make their home beautiful their way, by designing their own home. We have been observing a growing trend of customers opting to buy furniture for an entire space rather than seeking individual pieces and that led to the decision of building this new feature” said Rajiv Srivatsa, COO & Co-founder, Urban Ladder.
The next version of the feature will help users see how products fit in their space, help them interact with other look creators to encourage social sharing and get personalised recommendations while creating their looks.
