An impressive performance as compared to the last year, Bannari’s strong point in FY 18 was the placement parameter, which went up to #2 from #8 the previous year. Information available suggests that of the 1,347 students placed in FY 18, 775 were absorbed in the core industries, while 494 and 78 students were placed in IT Services and Product categories. Information available suggests that it has achieved 100% placement consecutively for the last 3 years. What is impressive is that almost 42.5% of the students were placed in the ICT sector. If one looks at the other parameter rankings, Bannari was able to secure tops slots in academic as well as industry interface- this had clearly acted as a springboard to higher placements and upped the overall performance scores of the institute during FY 2018. The institute has CoE collaborations with various industry leaders and per se in the ICT space, it has collaborations with leading players like Intel, Freescale, Cisco, Juniper among others.

Infrastructure transpired into a strong point for this institution, which climbed up impressively to #2 position in 2018 as compared to its # 13 position in 2017. While the institute secured #9 and # 8 position in industry interface and placement parameters, academic and infrastructure contributed to the betterment of the overall rankings in 2018.

Which has been Accredited to A+ grade in its third Cycle by ‘NAAC’ in 2017 (BVDU accredited to Grade ‘A’ in 2004 and 2011). Looking at the rankings, this institution is a consistent performer. While the overall rankings remained unchanged, the one notable performance metric this time is the institute taking a pole position in terms of placements. Looking at other parameters, there is scope for improvement in terms of infrastructure and industry interface.
