Shiprocket has appointed industry veteran Sunil Kumar as its CTO. Sunil has come onboard with nearly two decades of in-depth industry experience and has previously been associated with Rediff.com, Reliance Entertainment, Times Business Solutions, EazyDiner, and ApnaPaisa alongside others.
Shiprocket provides seamless shipping solutions to big and small enterprises in India. Its geographical reach stretches to over 26,000 PIN codes in India and more than 220 countries across the globe. The company today enables big and small enterprises to deliver shipments at lucrative rates starting from Rs. 27/500g and Rs. 110/50g for domestic and international orders respectively. Its tech-driven approach has enabled businesses to deliver shipments via courier partners with greater precision and cost-effectiveness.
At Shiprocket, Sunil will be spearheading infrastructure enhancements, optimizations, and infusion of novel technology to support Shiprocket’s market needs. He will also maintain and enhance the technology platform in accordance with business priorities while ensuring that performance metrics are in perfect order. Moreover, he will develop and control the operating and capital budgets for the company’s end-to-end technology functions.
