Sasken appoints Hari Haran as President - Global Sales and Marketing

Sasken Communication Technologies announced the appointment of Hari Haran as President - Global Sales, Marketing and Business Lines. Hari, who will be reporting to Chairman, Managing Director & CEO Rajiv C Mody, brings a strong track record of achieving sales results and etching successful business development stories for companies across the world.

Hari’s coming on board will enable us to tap into the tremendous opportunities that the marketplace is providing today and accelerate our growth.”

Hari has keen insights into various industry verticals and the digital transformation initiatives. With close to three decades of extensive global experience in communications, wireless, software, IT, and engineering services, Hari has essayed a variety of senior executive roles across sales, services and operations at companies such as Aricent, Persistent, Openwave Systems, Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, and AT&T. Most recently, Hari was an independent management consultant serving a global clientele.

As President - Global Sales, Marketing and Business Lines, Hari will be responsible for driving Sasken's global sales and business development efforts, and will be based in Sunnyvale, California. "I am extremely impressed with Sasken's deep engineering capabilities and am confident that we will take it together to the next level,” said Hari Haran. “I am looking forward to working with the team at Sasken to drive the next phase of growth”

Hari has completed the executive management curriculum at University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School as well as an MS in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He received his MBA from the University of Louisiana, Monroe, and has a BS in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
