Prior to joining Riverbed, he served as a mentor to startups in India. Previously, he held several senior executive positions in the region, including Managing Director, India and South Asia, Arista Networks, where he was responsible for building operations of the company in the areas of Cloud and Datacenter operations. He also served as President of Tejas Network and Managing Director at Juniper Networks, where he played a key role in helping to build the brand from a start up to one of the leading networking players in India.
“As application performance has become equal to business performance, companies in India are turning a greater focus to harnessing technologies that deliver greater visibility and control of their IT environment,” said Nagendra Venkaswamy, Vice President, Riverbed, India and SAARC. “Riverbed is at the forefront of driving this radical new approach, reimagining the distributed network so that it’s application-centric, agile and software-defined. We have a significant opportunity to accelerate this business transformation in India and SAARC and I look forward to working with the Riverbed team as we embark on this exciting journey.”
