Redmi 4 witnesses record sales on Amazon India

Xiaomi’s latest Redmi 4 exclusively available on Amazon.in which went on sale on May 23 at 12.00pm witnessed record sales. Following the 12:00pm launch, Amazon.in and Mi.com sold more than 250,000 units within 8 minutes of launch.

Amazon.in witnessed huge interest with more than 10mn hits per minute on the site.

Redmi 4 which currently is available for customers in two variants, the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant priced at Rs. 6,999 and the 3GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant which is priced at Rs. 8,999 witnessed over 2.3mn ‘notify me’ alerts from customers following the launch announcement on 16 May 2017.
