Qlik has announced that it has opened the doors to its Qlik Sense Tour 2017 – a series of over 100 events in cities across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) dedicated to demonstrating to organizations how they can give their data a voice. Having kicked off the tour in Sweden and Spain, the tour will continue its track over the next two months to countries such as Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and the UAE to help organizations understand how to listen to what their data has to say, and to end data silence.
The events, run by both Qlik and 67 of its partners across APAC and EMEA, are designed to help attendees discover the new era of analytics that goes beyond the linear and limited options of the past. To showcase how more flexible visual analytics platforms can deliver actionable insights by giving information a voice, delegates will be given product demonstrations, take part in hands-on Qlik Sense workshops and hear from Qlik’s global customers such as Adidas (DACH), Lenovo (China), South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (UKI) and Technica Group (Italy), among others. The Qlik Sense Tour will give attendees the chance to discover the benefits other organisations like themselves have derived from unleashing their data and letting it do the talking.
One of the customers which has deployed Qlik Sense to manage its vast ecosystem of shoppers and sellers is Southeast Asia’s eCommerce retail giant, Lazada. Lazada’s Chief Information Officer, Klemen Drole, explains: “As Lazada continues to grow, we deal with an increasing amount of data generated by our shoppers and sellers. Qlik helps us visualize these large amounts of data, allowing us to stay ahead of commercial and operational challenges in the highly dynamic eCommerce business environment. This ability to look at all our information at the same time, regardless of their source, has enabled us to plan for and react to our dynamic environment more quickly.”
Delegates will also have the chance to build their own customized, powerful visual analytics applications that connect with external data sources and systems, and are tailored to their needs during the hands-on workshops. Over the course of the Tour, Qlik will also be showcasing exciting new feature releases and updates to the Qlik Sense product, including Qlik Sense Cloud Business, the cloud-ready solution that enables all businesses – from small to enterprise – to access data analytics in the cloud.
Along with the chance to gain exclusive insights into Qlik’s product roadmap, there will be opportunities to network with peers, customers and the Qlik partner community, as well as hear from Qlik experts themselves. Those interested in signing up at the various in-country events will be able to keep an eye on the proceedings over the next couple of months by following #QlikSenseTour on Twitter.
