Powergrid recruitment 2021 for engineers is currently underway for 137 vacancies for which applications have been invited from experienced professionals. The vacancies are available under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) project works of Powergrid. Selected candidates will be engaged on a temporary and contractual basis for a period of 24 months initially or till the completion of projects, whichever is earlier. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs 1,20,000.
Who Can Apply for Powergrid Recruitment 2021?
The official Powergrid recruitment notification says that there are 137 vacancies available for candidates with a full time BE, BTech, or BSc in engineering t from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 55% marks for field engineer vacancies and those with a 3 years diploma in an engineering discipline from a recognized technical board or institute with minimum 55% marks for the filed supervisor vacancies in the following streams:

Applicants are also required to have one year of post-qualification experience, and the final merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the interview for field engineers or screening test for field supervisors.

Interested applicants will have to submit online applications on the official Powergrid website before 27 August 2021. Applicants will also have to submit an online applications fee of Rs 400 for field engineers, and Rs 300 for field supervisor vacancies.
