Khosla as Seventymm CEO

Seventymm.com, Indias movie rental company, has announced the appointment of
Mudit Khosla as the new chief executive officer. In his new role, Khosla will be
responsible for developing and executing the companys long-term growth
strategies, launching new initiatives, and developing new earning opportunities.
Prior to this, he worked as the founding GM and business head of Yatra.com.

Presswala is Miles MD



Miles Software Solutions, a provider of software solutions, has announced
the appointment of Sandeep Presswala as its executive director. A veteran in the
capital markets, Presswala brings with him twenty years of experience. At
MilesSoft, he would be a key member of the leadership team and would aim to
position MilesSoft as a comprehensive capital markets solutions provider in the
domestic and overseas markets.

Satyam Hires Narayanan

Mahindra Satyam, an IT service provider, has announced the appointment of
Hari Narayanan as head of new business development in Japan. This appointment is
part of Mahindra Satyams focus to further strengthen its presence in the
Japanese market. Narayanan would be responsible to lead a team and drive
business development across emerging technologies for Mahindra Satyam. He will
be reporting to Raghavendra Tripathi, regional manager for North Asia.

Aricent Names Freeman CFO



Aricent named David Freedman as it chief financial officer. Previously, Freedman
was the chief financial officer of KGB. Prior to KGB Freeman was CFO of Iowa
Wireless, a joint venture between Iowa Network Services and T-Mobile. Between
1994 and 1998 he was VP and CFO of Jotan in Florida, where he took the company
public, handled all SEC filings and oversaw the acquisition of a company six
times larger than Jotan.

Xchanging Appoints Purcell



Xchanging, the global business processor, has announced the appointment of Kerry
Purcell as head of Asia Pacific region. In this newly created position, Kerry
will be responsible for spearheading Xchangings growth in the Asia Pacific
markets. This will include leading the companys business in Australia,
Singapore, Malaysia, India, China, and Japan. Kerry will be a member of the
Xchanging Management Board and will be based in Sydney, Australia.


Pradeep Gupta Named AIM President

CyberMedia Group chairman Pradeep Gupta has been named the
president of the Association of Indian Magazines (AIM). The announcement
came following the annual general meeting of AIM.

Tarun
Rai, CEO, WWM, has been made the vice president; while Mitrajit
Bhattacharya, president and publisher, Chitralekha, is the general
secretary. The AGM of the association took place on the sidelines of the
two-day annual Indian Magazine Congress, which began here on November 5,
2009.

Pradeep Gupta takes over the charge from Outlook Groups Maheshwer Peri.
Guptas term as AIM president is for two years. Peri has incidentally served
two terms as the AIM president. Past presidents, Paresh Nath of Delhi Press
and Ashish Bagga of India Today Group, have also served two terms each.

Vdopia Appoints Sharma

Vdopia, a provider of online and mobile video monetization player, has announced
that Nexus Venture Partners recently invested $4 mn in their Series-A funding
round. Vdopia has also appointed Rohit Sharma as its new president and CEO. He
would lead the companys growth in enabling new business models for digital
media.

Acision Appoints Choudhury

Acision, the worlds leading messaging company, has announced the appointment of
Atanu Choudhury as VP & GM for South West Asia. In his new role, he will oversee
Acisions South West Asian operations and will be instrumental in strengthening
the companys presence in the region . Prior to joining Acision, Choudhury was
VP, sales, South West Asia at Dilithium Networks, . He also held senior sales
positions at Nortel Networks & Alcatel in the region.

Satyam Appoints Nair as SVP

Mahindra Satyam has announced the appointment of Sudhir Nair as senior vice
president and head of infrastructure services. Prior to joining Mahindra Satyam,
Nair has been with Infosys as an integral part of the core team responsible for
launching the infrastructure management services (IMS) into the global market
and driving significant growth. He comes equipped with twenty years of cross
functional experience in IT infrastructure services, and has served in
leadership positions in delivery and business development.

Change of Guard at MAIT

MAIT, the apex body representing Indias IT hardware, training and R&D services
sectors, organized its twenty-sixth annual session, in which it announced the
change of guards at the association. The meeting named Ravi Aggarwal, president,
imaging & printing group, HP India as its new president, and Sandeep Nair, MD,
Emerson Network Power as the VP for the term 2009-10. Making the announcement,
Vinnie Mehta, executive director, MAIT said, both Aggarwal and Nair have
contributed immensely to the development of IT market in the country.

Mukhopadhyay Wins Photo Of The Year Contest

FotoFlock.com by Epson has announced the results of the Photo of the Year
contest. Somenath Mukhopadhyay from West Bengal won the first place winning an
Epson EH-DM2, all-in-one home theater Projector and a personally autographed
photo by Steve McCurry, the internationally renowned photographer of National
Geographic fame. The contest had forty-eight finalists, short listed from over
11,020 entries.

Paul Quits Wipro

Wipros chief marketing officer Jessie Paul, has put in her papers to start her
own venture named Paul Writer Strategic Advisory, a B2B marketing firm. She
would be part of Wipro till January 8, 2010, and would launch her venture around
January 11. Paul has been part of Wipro for four and a half years.

Saini is President, Sales, SatNav

Surinder Saini has joined SatNav Technologies as the president, sales. In this
new role, Saini will handle channel and distributor sales for the complete range
of SatGuide products. He also works as an evangelist promoting location based
services and personal navigation products amongst various influential
