DLP, RPA, ERP, o365, BI, MDM, WAF, UTM, IPS/IDS, CDN etc.

Which are the functions/departments in your organization that is starting first with the emerging technologies?

Marketing, Call Centre, Guest Internet etc.

How will emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, IOT, Big Data, Augmented Reality, Analytics etc will change the fabric of IT organizations?

All of them will bring in a huge differentiation of service standards in our case. We have already started testing a few use cases in both guest areas and back offices and have started seeing very encouraging responses.

Best practices and emerging tech deployment strategies

I think detailed planning with capturing of key users requirements is essential. Any technology should not be implemented for the heck of its existence, we must always try and resolve a business problem with the help of technology deployment. The outcome of the same must always be measurable.
