As majority of the decision now-a-days are based on data evidence, it supports human instinct to a great extent. This inturn has helped IT to closely participate in the business decision and work along with business to drive strategy and execution. As business sustenance and growth dependability increases with the adaption of emerging technologies, IT functions / organisations will be at forefront to make strategic decisions as against just keeping the lights on.

What are the key factors to be factored (best practices) in an emerging tech deployment strategy?

While establishing the emerging tech deployment strategy one should factor business and end users expectations along with contingencies and execution agility. Factoring Business expectations will help align the revenue, bottom-line, productivity and/or efficiency effectiveness and get users/employees buy-in during difficult circumstances.
