To improve their generative AI skills, two well-known Indian internet businesses, Zomato and Blinkit, are actively hiring AI/ML professionals. The companies are specifically looking for engineers to push further AI advances and optimise large language models, or LLMs.
The announcement focuses on a few critical aspects of Zomato and Blinkit's quick progress in AI. The generative AI team has multiplied; in only one year, it went from having three engineers to having twenty. These hiring initiatives aim to enhance the performance, efficiency, and capabilities of big language models (LLMs) across various applications. Furthermore, both organisations use AI to encourage innovation, create new goods, enhance current offerings, and gain market advantage.
Head of generative AI Vaibhav Bhutani, heading up Zomato's central AI team and its fast commerce startup Blinkit, posted a job alert on LinkedIn for AI-based tech developers focusing on optimising huge language models using cutting edge techniques. This Gurgaon-based employment is available to both senior engineers and interns. "Whether you're an intern eager to learn or a senior engineer prepared to lead, you'll have the opportunity to make a mark and shine!" is the unambiguous call to action. Lately, Zomato CEO Zomato, a leader in AI-powered delivery services, recently said that AI-generated food photos will no longer be allowed on the platform to win back consumer trust.

Are Images Created by AI on Zomato Banned?
Zomato recently said that it would not support the usage of AI-generated photos of food items on restaurant menus, citing worries about consumer trust and detrimental effects on the company. Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of Zomato, disclosed that customer complaints over AI-generated photos have increased refund rates and decreased restaurant ratings. By the end of this month, we will actively begin deleting AI-generated dish photos from restaurant menus. Therefore, we ask our restaurant partners to refrain from doing so in the future. And would no longer accept AI-generated dish photos (to the extent that automation allows us to identify them)," Goyal declared.
