UST, a provider of digital transformation solutions, acquires the automation unit of Information Services Group (ISG), enhancing its presence in the rapidly evolving intelligent automation market. This acquisition strengthens UST’s capabilities in automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic process automation (RPA), and equips the company to better serve clients across industries by optimizing business processes, enhancing customer experiences, and reducing operational costs.

ISG, a global leader in technology research and advisory (Nasdaq: III), sold its automation division to UST for $27 million in an all-cash deal. Established in 2017, the unit specializes in RPA software implementation, support, and licensing services. With over 120 senior automation consultants operating across the U.S., UK, India, Canada, and Germany, the unit has built strong partnerships with key players like Automation Anywhere, UiPath, and Blue Prism. This acquisition will enable UST to offer end-to-end services, from strategy and design to implementation and ongoing support, while also expanding its ecosystem of automation partners.

The deal is a strategic move for UST as enterprises increasingly seek to scale automation solutions and drive broader business transformation. With this acquisition, UST aims to enhance its portfolio of automation platforms, accelerate innovation, and improve operational efficiency for its clients.
