Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the launch of a dedicated NVIDIA business unit within its AI. Cloud division which is specifically designed to help customers in industries such as manufacturing, BFSI, telecom, retail, and automotive adopt artificial intelligence (AI) at scale. This strategic move extends the ongoing collaboration between TCS and NVIDIA which has spanned over five years, focusing on accelerated AI solutions through NVIDIA’s AI platform.
The new TCS NVIDIA business unit leverages NVIDIA AI Enterprise, Omniverse, and proprietary TCS frameworks to develop industry-specific solutions. These offerings, based on TCS’s global centers of excellence, include AI solutions for a range of applications. In manufacturing, TCS’s Manufacturing AI for Industrials offers advanced insights by transforming raw data using large language models (LLMs) tailored to industry nuances. In the BFSI sector, TCS AI Spectrum delivers faster decision-making, enhanced compliance, and improved risk management through secure LLMs.
The retail sector benefits from TCS Cognitive Visual Receiving, which automates quality checks, product identification, and other processes to improve warehousing accuracy and efficiency. TCS’s AI-native telco offerings, developed on NVIDIA’s Omniverse Digital Twin, allow telecom operators to build autonomous network models and enhance billing, visualization, and customer experience. For automotive clients, TCS’s AI-based Autonomous Vehicle Platform accelerates the development of autonomous vehicle features with NVIDIA’s Omniverse and synthetic data solutions.
TCS’s broader goal with this initiative is to support India’s digital transformation and the anticipated $13-billion space economy by 2025. Through its alliance with NVIDIA, TCS has developed digital twin solutions, including real-time factory planning and predictive maintenance tools in “Factory of the Future,” which improves operational efficiencies. Additional offerings like the “In-Car Digital Twin” simulate autonomous driving scenarios, while “Aero Care Efficiency” optimizes safety for aircraft through digital simulations. TCS also offers a Smart Farming Digital Twin to enhance modern agriculture by simulating real-world physics for process and performance improvements.
Siva Ganesan, Head of TCS AI.Cloud, emphasized that TCS’s integrated approach and NVIDIA’s AI technology position the new unit to transform enterprise AI adoption. NVIDIA’s Jay Puri highlighted the collaboration as setting the stage for enterprise AI transformation across India and the globe.
This partnership underscores TCS’s commitment to fostering enterprise-wide AI transformation with NVIDIA technology, offering clients innovative solutions tailored to industry-specific needs.
