OUS will create drones with parts made in the country with this goal.

OUS's principal objective is to support the prosperity of farmers, the nation's backbone, and to align with Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's "Make in India" agenda. OUS will create drones with parts made in the country with this goal. The corporation intends to enhance this aim to 75% by the end of this fiscal year, from its current target of at least 65% indigenization. Several components, including the power distribution board, anti-spark switch, flight controller, airframe, and motor, have already been successfully localised by OUS. OUS aims to introduce these drones for spraying and precision farming at a reasonable cost to assist the farmers.

The price plan will allow drones to be widely deployed and used throughout India. It is anticipated that the program will assist farmers in raising the productivity and production of their farmland while lowering input costs and increasing their earnings.

OUS Drone: Features

The Vajra QC P20 is a mapping and precision agriculture drone that weighs approximately 2 kg and can fly for more than 30 minutes. The drone can cover an area of 0.5 to 1 square kilometres and has a maximum range of 4 kilometres. In precision agriculture, the Vajra QC P20 is capable of a wide range of activities, such as maximising crop health and production, which promotes sustainable farming practices. In a natural disaster, the insurance business can map farmlands with the help of drones to assess agricultural damage.

OUS will provide services centred around pesticide and fertiliser spraying and precision agriculture using drones. The drone-based service would improve agricultural practices in India by using a hub-and-spoke approach that will increase productivity, economy, and speed. Company's Overview

"We have decided to march on a unique business model for our drone business, and this is based on our ground-level research, which called out issues like lack of know-how on operating drones, scarcity of spare parts etc.," stated Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chairman of Optiemus Infracom Limited. Given the advantages this business offers, it has enormous potential. We plan to use our drone technological knowledge to provide a practical and affordable solution for defence and agricultural purposes. We aim to upend conventional agricultural methods, increase crop yields, and encourage environmental stewardship and sustainability. We have begun selling our drones to India's paramilitary and defence forces and already have a portfolio of military-grade drones.
