IIT Kharagpur Launches MTech in Artificial Intelligence

IIT Kharagpur recently announced the launch of MTech in artificial intelligence. The institute says that the course is being offered as artificial intelligence is currently one of the most sensational domains across all sectors including healthcare, legal, and automobile among others. Post the  MTech in artificial intelligence students would be prepared to join the workforce directly or pursue PhD programs for cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence and machine learning with job placement opportunities. 

During the initial two semesters of the program, emphasis is placed on laying a robust groundwork by engaging in ten theory courses, out of which four are mandatory. Within the program framework, students are granted the flexibility to select six elective courses from a diverse array of options provided by the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, in addition to offerings from various departments within IIT Kharagpur. The latter half of the program, spanning the final two semesters, is dedicated to practical application through project work and internships, allowing students to integrate theoretical knowledge into real-world contexts.
