IDEMIA Secure Transactions (IST), a division of IDEMIA Group, today announced a strategic research partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) on Post-Quantum Cryptography. The partnership aims to enhance privacy frameworks against quantum threats, focusing on designing lattice-based post-quantum schemes and developing solutions that ensure the long-term security of products. IST will sponsor PhD scholars over four years as part of this initiative.
IST’s active role in advancing post-quantum cryptography in India includes collaborations with key industry and government bodies. The company contributes to standardization bodies such as TSDSI, TEC, and CDOT, demonstrating its commitment to advancing regional cryptographic research.
