IBM has expanded its software availability to 92 countries including India in the AWS marketplace allowing access to its clients worldwide. This expansion has gone beyond its previous availability in Denmark, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. With this expansion the company aims to simplify procurement processes, streamline purchasing, and create new efficiencies for clients, utilizing their AWS committed spend for IBM software purchases.
With AWS Marketplace estimated to reach $45 billion by 2025, this move by IBM aligns with the growing trend of cloud marketplaces. With this clients now have access to IBM’s AI and data technologies, including Watsonx AI and Data platform, Db2 Cloud Pak for Data, automation software, and IBM Security and Sustainability software portfolios.

Additionally, IBM is also launching 15 new IBM Consulting professionals services and assets on the AWS Marketplace which will be focused on data and application modernization, security services, and industry-specific solutions.
