MobiKwik to spread festive cheer with 0% TDR till 31st December

MobiKwik, trusted by over 35 million users, has announced that it is waving off ‘per transaction fee’ for all unorganised retail merchants till December 31 to promote the adoption of e-cash among local grocery stores, chemists, apparel stores and other mom-and-pop shops. The company is also offering upto 25% cashback to the users of offline merchants who sign up during this period.

Additionally, MobiKwik has announced that under its ‘Shagun wali Diwali’ offer, select users who send shagun for Diwali and Bhaidooj can get 100% cashback. To send Shagun, users can do P2P transfer to the beneficiary's MobiKwik or bank account. This can be done easily from the home page of MobiKwik app by clicking on 'transfer/pay to' tab. Also, MobiKwik is offering upto Rs. 1000 cashback on recharges and Rs. 10000 cashback on transactions at over 100000 merchants.

The transaction discount rate (TDR) paid by merchants, varies from 1 to 2.5 per cent for various modes of digital payments. TDR is a fee that a business pays each time it processes a customer's electronic transaction.

To promote adoption among unorganised retail merchants, we have announced 0% TDR. We are certain that by the end of this year, we will be able to significantly increase the number of unorganised retail merchants on our platform.” Upasana added.
