DQ: How can lawyers build and manage their legal practice and automate manual processes?

Dr. Arvind Singhatiya: The LegalKart App is free to use for lawyers. It also help the lawyers in managing cases and synchronizing tasks and cases on calendars. It is also providing advanced features like financial management of all cases, client management, document and team management. LegalKart also facilitates collaboration with other legal professionals at the same time. LegalKart introduced LK Connect, a credit system, which allows lawyers to accept legal queries from his own city using the app.

Client registration - Lawyers can register existing clients directly on the App and start sharing case updates and all other details on LegalKart Client APP. It helps increasing transparency in the processes and multiple clients can be updated at the same time.

Real-time chat with client and document sharing - Chat with clients/other lawyers in the app seek instructions, share documents in real-time.

Real-time invoice preparation and sending to client - Add expanses with every case in the app and add them in consolidated invoice which can be shared with a client in real-time.

Receiving payments through LegalKart app on the invoices raised to clients.

Clients can post their problem and requirements which lawyers can accept to directly connect with them to help them with their matter.

DQ: How are you making use of cloud computing in LegalKart?

Dr. Arvind Singhatiya: LegalKart is using Amazon Web Services Servers, which are globally safest and fastest. All the transactions happen on AWS servers, and the app, at any given point of time, exchanges data through the cloud. Its accessible any time on any devise, with complete safety and security.

DQ: How many lawyers across India are using this app, and why?

Dr. Arvind Singhatiya: We have on-boarded 5,000+ lawyers across India covering 500 cities and districts. Lawyers are using the app for following key features:

Client registration - Lawyers can register existing clients directly on the App and start sharing case updates and all other details on LegalKart Client APP. It helps increasing transparency in the processes and multiple clients can be updated at the same time.

Case documents and case notes management - Every case added have a unique tab to add voice notes, upload important documents.

Case updates from the court of his/her practice - More than 1,000 legal forums (courts) are available on LegalKart App, including all High Courts, Supreme Court, District Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals, NCLT, etc., and more forums are in the process of being added.

Case and client calendar management - Manage Calendar and activities with real-time push notifications for pending meetings, next date of hearings on the cases and share updates with clients immediately.

Team management - Through LegalKart App, a single case can be managed by multiple team members and their work can be collated, evaluated and managed.

Adding New Clients - There are millions of clients across the country who is seeking legal support. Their queries are captured and presented to the Lawyers on their App by LegalKart. They have a choice to accept the case/client which will increase their professional exposure.

DQ: What are the areas they are working on?

Dr. Arvind Singhatiya: LegalKart is also developing artificial intelligence-based legal tech products. Simplifying documentation, drafting and vetting complex legal documents, deep judgement research modules are in the pipeline in medium to long term. In short term creating a strong lawyer base across the country and creating an easy access of legal support for every citizen is the key target that we have. Currently, we have 5,000+ lawyers and we are receiving a monthly traction of 10K+ individuals.

DQ: How are you promoting the app?

Dr. Arvind Singhatiya: The app is being promoted offline through tie-ups with the various lawyers associations and through referrals. We are also using digital marketing for it.
