Nearly two months after JioFiber plans were announced, Airtel Xtream Fibre has revised its broadband plans to offer more data at faster speeds. In what seems to be a bid to take on the JioFiber services, Airtel Xtream Fibre is offering its 4K set-top box at a competitive price as well.
Both JioFiber and Airtel Xtream Fibre have various plans ranging from base plans to premium plans. Let us now take a look at what JioFiber and Airtel Xtream Fibre have to offer in their base plans.
JioFiber Base Plan
JioFiber base plans would cost its consumers Rs 699 per month plus Rs 2500 security deposit, which includes home gateway as well as 4K set-top box. Customers who opt for this plan get 100GB data plus additional data of 50GB at 100MBPS speed per month. There is an FUP of 1Mbps post the high-speed limit.
Other services such as unlimited voice calling, video calling, gaming, Norton device security, and entertainment OTT applications such as Jio Cinema and Jio Saavn are complimentary. Consumers have the option of paying Rs 150 and opting for the Rs 849 plan which offers more data.
Airtel Xtream Fibre Base Plan
Airtel Xtream Fibre base plan is being offered at Rs 799, along with additional Rs 2249 for the Airtel Xstream 4K Hybrid set-top box. The data offered per month would be a 150GB at 100MBPS. Earlier, the speed offered to Airtel Xtream Fibre consumers was 40GB. Users also get access to unlimited Airtel Xstream content; as well unlimited local and STD voice calls.
Furthermore, users also have the option to upgrade to other Airtel unlimited plans by paying Rs 299. Airtel Xtream Fibre also has other plans at Rs 999, 1499 and 3999 per month that offer speeds of up to 1GBPS per month and complimentary access to OTT subscription.
