Jio Platforms partners with NVIDIA to Accelerate AI Cloud Infrastructure In India

Jio Platforms Limited has unveiled its plans to construct a state-of-the-art cloud-based computing infrastructure in collaboration with NVIDIA. This partnership is aimed to further strengthen India's position as a rising force in the field of artificial intelligence.

The new upcoming AI cloud infrastructure will serve as a vital resource for researchers, developers, startups, scientists, AI professionals, and others across India. It will grant them access to accelerated computing and high-speed, secure cloud networking capabilities. This will also empower them to execute workloads efficiently and securely while optimizing energy consumption at the same time.

The new infrastructure claims to accelerate a wide range of India's critical initiatives and AI projects, encompassing AI-powered chatbots, drug discovery, climate research, and more.

Under this collaboration, NVIDIA will provide Jio with end to end Ai computer technologies, encompassing Central Processing Units(CPUs), Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), networking solutions, as well as AI operating systems and frameworks to facilitate the development of AI models.

Here, Jio will assume the responsibility to manage the AI cloud infrastructure and oversee customer engagement and accessibility.
