Students who are staying at home due to the 21 Coronavirus lockdown and are preparing for JEE Advanced 2020 can now access the JEE preparation module developed by IIT Kharagpur free of cost. Recognizing the need for adequate online resources and e-learning material for students to prepare at home amidst the lockdown, IIT Kharagpur has formulated a preparatory module for JEE available to students for free on the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) platform.
How to Access the Preparation Module for JEE Advanced 2020?
Interested students need to do the following in order to obtain the required material for JEE Advanced 2020:
- Visit the NDLI website https://www.ndl.gov.in/ or https://ndl.iitkgp.ac.in/ or log on to the NDLI mobile application.
- A special module named ‘Corona Outbreak: Study from Home’ has been added to the website which contains a wide range of digital content including those preparing for competitive examinations like JEE Advanced 2020.
- The repository contains NDLI tutorial for JEE Advanced for 12 years and practice questions and solutions for JEE preparation.
- Content for JEE Mains for 5 years is expected to be made available soon, says the KGP Chronicle website.
Although the resources can be accessed without logging in, for a better experience it is advised to access NDLI after logging in, says the website. Apart from JEE preparatory module, there is a wide variety of study material available for school students, undergraduate engineering students, undergraduate science students, undergraduate students of other disciplines and law students.
Students have the option to "Browse by Source" using the Browse button and then select the "Source" they are interested in. Students may also search the repository by clicking the "Search" button and putting the topic of study in the "Search" window.
“Please visit and continue your studies. Please let us know how we can continue to support your preparations. NDLI is accessible through the web as well as mobile App. Be safe but let us be digitally active in academics and connected,” says Prof. PP Chakrabarti, Principal Investigator of NDLI, on his social media handle.
NDLI was developed by IIT Kharagpur under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in the year 2016 as a National Mission project. MHRD has been heavily advocating e-learning ever since the 21 days lockdown has come into place in India.
“Students to make sure you have adequate online resources and e-learning materials to continue with your JEE preparations during lockdown. IIT Kharagpur has developed a JEE preparation module that you can access for FREE on National Digital Library,” tweeted Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Cabinet Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India.
