ITC Infotech, a global scale full service provider of technology solutions and a fully-owned subsidiary of ITC Ltd, announced a partnership with Manipal Global Education Services to offer advanced certification programs in supply chain management and lean six sigma, a program that combines the best methods available today for simultaneously improving quality, speed, productivity and cost. This initiative will be in line with ITC Infotech’s vision of creating a “Digital Academy”, pioneered internally as an educational initiative for the external market.
This joint initiative between ITC Infotech and Manipal ProLearn, a division of Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE), focusing on digital learning, will be in the form of online programs aimed to train learners through an experiential model. This would incorporate several strategies including teaching through demonstrations on tools, videos featuring an industry expert and extensive audio based e-learning material. These certification courses will give participants a detailed knowledge of contemporary issues of supply chain management. The courses will be also available for ITC Infotech employees. This collaborative effort will allow both the companies to work on the contemporary topics of Digital Supply Chain, while at the same time vertically enhancing the supply chain course to the next level.
