What is the selection process?

The selection process for ISRO recruitment comprises two crucial stages which is

  • Written test
  • Interview

The candidates will be assessed through a written test to ensure their theoretical and practical knowledge. Based on their performance in the written test candidates will be shortlisted for the interview phase typically in a ratio of 1:5 with a minimum of 10 candidates per category-wise vacancy.

The final selection is determined by giving equal weightage to both the written test and interview scores with each accounting for 50% of the evaluation.

How to apply?

Applicants can submit their applications through online mode only. The application will be submitted on the official SDSC SHAR website between 14 October and 3 November. Once the applicants have registered themselves on the website they will be provided with a registration number that has to be preserved for future reference.

Application and payment of fee has to be submitted within the due date. And, applicants should note that they will have to submit separate applications for each postcode and also need to pay the requisite fee separately for each application.

Applicants applying for the given vacancy will be subjected to a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 250/-. However, all the individual candidates will have to uniformly pay Rs.750/-  per application as a processing fee which is refundable to candidates who appear in the written examination under the Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen category.
