The Cupertino-based giant has recently announced that it will be giving one year warranty in India on its unlocked iPhones purchased from outside India. This means that if a person purchase an unlocked iPhone from any country other than India then it will hold one year warranty which was not present in the past.
In the past Apple did not give international warranty on unlocked iPhones. So users had purchase their own warranty. With this new offer, customers will be able to enjoy the use of iPhones purchased internationally.
This is a good opportunity for iPhone lovers who are planning to buy iPhone X. The iPhone X cost INR 89,000 in India, whereas in US it is selling at $999( INR 65,095). So, if you purchase the device from US, you will be able to save INR 23,904 and will also get warranty in India.
According to reports, the iPhone X is now up for pre-order in some of select stores across Delhi NCR. Though iPhone X's official pre-orders starts from 27th October in the country.
The iPhone X comes with Super Retina edge-to-edge 5.8-inch display with 2436 x 1125 pixels resolution. This is the first ever iPhone to come with an OLED display with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support.
The Apple iPhone X is powered by A11 Bionic chip and runs iOS 11 . It also sports dial 12MP rear camera with dual optical image stabilization. There is f/1.8 aperture on the wide-angle camera and an f/2.4 aperture on the telephoto camera. This smartphone comes in two storage variants -- 64GB and 256GB.
