DQ: Given the focus on India, could you provide examples of Indian businesses that have successfully migrated to AWS Cloud through Noventiq's expertise? What unique considerations apply to the Indian market?
Praveen Sridhar: Noventiq has successfully migrated several Indian businesses to AWS Cloud, leveraging its expertise to address unique market needs. One prominent example is Profectus Capital. Noventiq helped Profectus Capital develop a data lake on AWS using AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and Amazon Redshift. This transformation enabled Profectus to gain a comprehensive 360-degree view of insights across multiple systems, streamlining decision-making processes around loan sanctioning. They also utilized Amazon Textract to extract key information from public domain PDFs, enhancing lead generation efforts by processing approximately one million annual school reports.
In the complex and challenging process of cloud migration, guidance from experts and experienced professionals is crucial. Noventiq, as an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, provides a clear migration path beginning with an accurate assessment, moving on to strategies to minimize disruption, and employing tested methodologies to ensure high performance. From lift and shift, migration, and optimization to automation, Noventiq serves as a trusted advisor to customers who understand that modernization is the way forward. Their cloud migration professional services include AWS data migration, server migration, and application migration to AWS Cloud.
The Indian market comprises a wide range of businesses, from startups to large enterprises, each with distinct requirements. Noventiq’s customized approach ensures that cloud solutions are tailored to meet these varied needs effectively.
DQ: With the increasing importance of data protection, how do you address cybersecurity concerns during cloud migration? What are the best practices or security features that should be emphasized?
Praveen Sridhar: At AWS, security is our top priority. AWS’s security-first and responsible-centric approach to generative AI is the reason why organizations from even highly regulated sectors (e.g. financial services, telecommunications, and healthcare) are keen to work with AWS.
At AWS, we care deeply about our culture of security. We are consistently working backward from our customers and investing in raising the bar on our security tools and capabilities. This is backed by our deep set of 300 security services and features and the trust of our millions of customers, including the most security-sensitive organizations like government, healthcare, and financial services. The AWS tech stack is designed to meet the most stringent security, compliance, and regulatory demands—with 143 pre-loaded security standards and 1,000s of global requirements validated by third parties—to help customers build confidence while meeting stringent regulations.
We also have a robust APN Partner network that offers hundreds of industry-leading security solutions that help customers improve their security and compliance. The scalability, visibility, and affordability our partners inherit with the cloud enables them to create world-class offerings for customers in areas such as: infrastructure security, policy management, identity management, security monitoring, vulnerability management, data protection, and consulting services.
We continue to innovate on behalf of our customers so they can move quickly, securely, and with confidence to enable their businesses, and our track record in the area of cloud security is second to none. We showcase our culture publicly as a means for anyone to learn from and adopt – such as our AWS Security Guardians program. We also help our customers by continuing to raise the bar on baseline security. For example, AWS now has automatic Block Public Access for S3 as default. This means customers can ensure that no new S3 buckets are inadvertently set to public access, which is a recommended security best practice.
