Infy COO U B Pravin Rao and CFO Rajiv Bansal highly compensated executives in FY 15

In a filing to US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Infosys has revealed the compensation details of its key executives. Taking the top spot was the company’s COO U B Pravin Rao who took home a total compensation of $ 970,646 ( Rs 6 crore). When one breaks that up, it has a base salary of $ 109,583, incentives and bonuses of $ 618,509 and a yearly commission of $244,554.

The second most compensated person at Infosys over the last year was CFO Rajiv Bansal. His total compensation amounted to $748,247 ( About Rs 4.8 crore) and his base salary stood at $124,567 and incentives and bonuses and commissions added up to the $623,680.

Meanwhile the HR head Srikantan Moorthy's package summed up to $658,636 during FY 15.

Now the key questions comes in – What about Vishal Sikkka, the CEO? Well, he happens to be the highest paid, but his tenure per se started on June 2014 and hence his compensation was calculated in proportion (pro-rata basis). Going by that his earnings stood at $ 716,539 about Rs 4.5 crore. Going by news reports, Sikka’s base salary stands at around $900,000 and his annual compensation is in the range of $ 5 million.
