Infosys, the global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, has announced a significant alliance with Google Cloud. This partnership aims to assist enterprises in harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI) by utilizing Infosys Topaz solutions and Google Cloud's generative AI offerings. This collaboration aims to create innovative industry-specific AI solutions and platforms while providing training to 20,000 practitioners in Google Cloud's generative AI technologies.
Infosys is establishing the Generative AI Labs as part of this expansion. This is a global initiative dedicated to developing industry-specific AI solutions. These labs will empower enterprises to incorporate generative AI into their business processes and promote AI-driven experiences. Infosys aims to equip 20,000 professionals with expertise in Google Cloud's generative AI solutions, including Vertex AI and Duet AI in Google Workspace. This training will ultimately enable organizations to successfully develop, implement, and manage various generative AI projects.
The alliance between Infosys and Google Cloud builds upon Infosys' existing strengths in data, analytics, and AI expertise. The collaboration is set to create transformative AI platforms and industry solutions for diverse business scenarios. These include consumer AI, autonomous supply chain management, autonomous marketing, anti-money laundering solutions, and customer services transformation.
These existing platforms and solutions, such as Infosys Live Enterprise Application Management Platform, Infosys Applied AI Platform, Infosys Customer Intelligence Platform, Infosys Data Streams, and Infosys Supply Chain AI Platform, will be enhanced with Infosys Topaz and Google Cloud generative AI capabilities.
This collaboration will provide a strong foundation for enterprises aiming to undergo AI-enabled transformations. For instance, Infosys Topaz and Google Cloud's generative AI have already played a vital role in helping a prominent consumer goods company successfully launch an AI Twin. This AI Twin assists in real-time marketing spend planning, promotional strategies, and product supply management across different markets. Another example is in the telecommunications sector, where Infosys, in partnership with Google Cloud, established a new data and AI capability. This has led to growth through digital channels and end-to-end customer journey support, from prospecting to servicing. Infosys' AI-powered solutions use insights to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and redefine digital business strategies for long-term success.
"Infosys has been long making investments in the AI space. We are leveraging generative AI to deliver transformative business solutions as well as integrating it into many of our offerings to accelerate productivity. The combined strength of Google Cloud's generative AI capabilities, Infosys Cobalt, and Infosys Topaz will help enterprises transform and future-proof their business, built on strong digital, cloud, and next-generation AI capabilities," said Salil Parekh, CEO, of Infosys.
"Generative AI is fundamentally changing how businesses operate, from enabling supply chain managers to operate more sustainably to helping marketers more efficiently create campaigns. Through our expanded partnership with Infosys, we will give our mutual customers the resources and skills needed to use generative AI today to create real-world value for their organizations," said Thomas Kurian, CEO, of Google Cloud.
The expanded partnership between Infosys and Google Cloud represents a significant step towards the wider adoption of AI in various industries. Through the development of generative AI platforms and the provision of comprehensive training, this alliance is expected to accelerate business transformations and empower organizations with the capabilities needed to leverage generative AI effectively.
