IIT Hyderabad Invites Applications for New Two-Year MTech Program on Smart Mobility

IIT Hyderabad has invited applications from engineers for a new two year MTech program on smart mobility, which will be conducted this academic year

IIT Hyderabad has launched a new two-year MTech program on Smart Mobility for which engineers and postgraduates in science can apply. The program is being jointly offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and DST: NM-ICPS Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) on Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems (UAVs, RoVs).

Multiple departments of IIT Hyderabad namely the departments of Artificial intelligence, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Design, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering are involved in the MTech program.

Who can Apply for the MTech Program on Smart Mobility by IIT Hyderabad?

The eligibility criteria mandated by IIT Hyderabad to take this program is BTech, BE, MSc or equivalent degree in any discipline, along with a valid GATE score in AE, AR, CE, CS, EC, EE, IN, MA, ME, PI, XE, or ST, according to the official website. Those interested to apply for the course must have already completed the degree or also could be in the final year of their degrees. However, in the case of the latter, the applicant should be able to complete the degree by the time of MTech admission.

The MTech Program on Smart Mobility will constitute theory courses that comprise compulsory core courses and a wide range of elective courses, laboratory courses, and an MTech thesis.

How to Apply for the MTech Program on Smart Mobility by IIT Hyderabad?

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official IIT Hyderabad website. Candidates who can apply can be either TIH supported students, government laboratory or industry-sponsored students, or self-sponsored students as well. Candidates will need to have a first-class degree in all cases. Qualified candidates will need to register at the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) to apply for MTech admission.
