We should have holistic view to the security environment: Okta

Harish Peri, SVP, Product Marketing, updated us about what to expect in the days ahead.

He said that we have ensured adoption in the cloud. We have AI agents. Think of every organization as technology run. There isn't a standard way for every app or device to share credentials. We have time for centralized security system for every organization. We have a working group with OpenAI. That standard will become the one to follow in future.

Our goal is that every app should support every platform. We will get more apps to be combined. Some biggest apps such as Office 365, will be supported. We will have the standard to define all that. We will give sone momentum to that standard. We should have holistic view to the security environment. 

We are combining that with whole host of identity and access control systems. Every company should have secure identity in future. A new frontier is AI ledgers. We will build GenAI structure. We will be embedding security. We will treat with safe level of standardization. 

When your organization is using apps, we will see that you can unify them. App authentication has also become stronger. We can ensure that if breaches happen, the standard can lock the security outcomes. We will make every app secure. 

Breaches happen all the time. We need to stop breaches on their track in future. We have closed partners too. We can detect signals, when necessary. We can take real-time action. Identity is the core thing here. 

We have a concept of macro view, along with micro view. We need to define open standards in future.
