Espon Launches A3 Size High Productivity InkTank Printer-L1455

Epson, the digital imaging and printing solutions, today announced the launch of its first A3 size multifunctional InkTank printer – L1455 in India. Epson’s InkTank printers have been a huge success since their launch a few years ago and have completely changed the dynamics of the printer market. Epson has sold 2 Million InkTank printers in India and 20 Million worldwide and is now the No. 1 InkTank brand in India (by Value as per IDC). The newly launched printer- L1455 is specially designed for corporate use and is engineered for convenience and productivity. The multi-function printer prints larger and clearer documents, spreadsheets, diagrams and charts to bring out maximum detail and clarity at A3+ size. The printer also supports copying and faxing.

The L1455 offers PC-less operations via a 4.3” color touchscreen LCD, media card slots and includes USB ports for flash drives. The printer also comes equipped with a full suite of connectivity features that includes Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct* and USB 2.0. It enables the user to print directly from the phone through the printer’s wireless connectivity.

The L1455 harnesses the power of the breakthrough PrecisionCore technology and prints at a high speed up to 18ipm for A4 & 10ipm for A3 sized documents. The L1455 also supports automatic duplex printing up to 8.7ipm for A4, reducing paper consumption.

The printer is equipped with two printing trays, a 35-sheet duplex ADF unit for convenient scanning and copying of double-sided documents, even up to A3 size. It prints black and white documents with razor sharp text which is water and smudge-resistant. The L1455 is enabled to print lab-quality glossy photos on photo media paper at a high resolution output of 4800dpi. Each set of inks yields 6,000 pages for black and 6,500 pages for colour. The printer offers the lowest CPP in the priter market with 12 paise for black and 20 paise for composite colour.
