Equifax, a global information solutions company, announced that Anand Raisinghani, former IBM executive, will lead its India-based sales team. Equifax India, which leverages high-velocity analytics, business intelligence solutions, and industry-leading data, has recently made a number of additions to its team to take the company to an even more competitive position.
Equifax India Country Leader, Manish Sinha says, “Anand is a proven manager, and I am confident in his abilities to help us deepen our penetration into the analytics and big data industries. He has a reputation for big wins and delivering on his goals, and his former responsibilities for a large analytics portfolio will translate well in his new role. Our customers will greatly benefit from the wealth of knowledge Anand adds, as he will champion our solutions in the marketplace and help Equifax clients understand how to most effectively deploy them. We are excited to welcome him to the team, and are looking to him to drive Equifax India even further down its current path of aggressive growth.”
Raisinghani comes to Equifax from IBM, where he most recently served as the Business Unit Executive for Analytics and Internet of Things. In that role, he was responsible for a cross functional leadership team of 35 professionals, and delivered high double digit growth for consecutive years while also leading large competitive accounts and securing many lines of new business for the team. Raisinghani had been with IBM since 2008, and held the positions of Industry Solutions Leader and General Manager of Financial services before being promoted to his Business Unit Leader. Prior to IBM, Raisinghani worked for Wipro, where he got his start in the industry, for nearly ten years – working his way up from Senior Marketing Executive to Delivery Head of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse. Raisinghani holds a Bachelor of Industry Electronics Engineering from the University of Pune and a Master of Management Studies from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
“I am thrilled to work for Equifax because not only does it have such a diverse portfolio of both bureau data and analytical capabilities, it also provides me with the opportunity to drive a direct impact to the company’s bottom line,” said Raisinghani. “I am a results-motivated type of leader, and look forward to building on the many successes that Equifax has already experienced this year.”
