The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), under the Ministry of Defence, has released an advertisement for a walk-in interview for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF). DRDO is providing this fellowship at the prestigious Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE) in Kanpur.

What will be the fellowship stipend?

The selected candidates will be awarded with the position of JRF in various disciplines. Along with that, they will receive a stipend of INR 37000 per month for the first and second years of their fellowship.

Additionally, they may also receive a contingency grant of up to INR 15000 per annum for the first two years, which can be increased to INR 20000 in subsequent years.

Interested candidates who wish to be a part of DRDO should appear for the walk-in interview at the DMSRDE Transit Facility, G.T. Road, Kanpur 208004. They should bring a bio-data, a recent passport-size photograph, and copies of their relevant documents including mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, community certificates (if applicable), GATE/NET score card, and ID proof along with them.

Candidates who are currently employed in government or public sector undertakings should apply through the proper channel.
