DRDO Recruitment 2019: RCMA DRDO is Looking to Hire Chemical Engineer, Salary Rs 31,000

Another DRDO Recruitment 2019 notification is out in the public domain, and this time a post is available at RCMA, Pune, ARDE Campus. RCMA, DRDO is looking to hire a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and selected candidate would be recruited for a period of two years, which is extendable. The candidate who is selected would also be eligible for a stipend of Rs 31,000 plus house rent allowance as allowed by rules.

Who is Eligible to Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?

According to the DRDO Recruitment 2019 notification in question, candidates who are not more than 28 years of age on the date of receipt of application and have a BE or BTech in Chemical Engineering in first division with a NET or GATE qualification can apply OR candidates with an ME or MTech in Chemical Engineering with first class at both graduate and post graduate level are eligible to apply for the DRDO JRF vacancy.

How to Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?

Candidates who have the required eligibility need to send a typed application in the format mentioned in the DRDO Recruitment 2019 notification addressed to The Regional Director, RCMA (AA), Pune, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, ARDE Campus, Armament Post, Pashan, District Pune, Maharashtra 411021. The application needs to be sent within 21 days of the date of publishing of the advertisement; since there is ambiguity regarding the same, candidates would be safe sending the applications before 16 or 17 May 2019. Candidates need to also clearly indicate the following on the application in bold: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF JRF”. The recruitment of the candidate would be made based on their performance in the interview, for which they would be called after studying their applications. The notification also makes it very clear that selected candidates will not have any right on absorption into DRDO.
