DRDO Recruitment 2019: ARDE has 9 JRF Vacancies for Engineers, Salary Rs 31,000

DRDO recruitment 2019 for engineers is being conducted for the positions of junior research fellows (JRF) across various Defence Research and Development Organisation laboratories. Currently, a notification for the vacancy of nine JRF positions has been issued for the DRDO laboratory Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE), Pune. Selected candidates would be engaged initially for a period of two years and eligible for a salary of Rs 31,000 per month.

Who can Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?

As per the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification, there are a total of 9 DRDO JRF vacancies available of which 4 vacancies require the following eligibility criteria: First class BE/BTech in electronics, electronics and telecommunications, or electronics and communications engineering with NET/GATE qualification OR first class MSc in electronics science or instrumentation science with NET qualification OR ME/MTech in electronics or instrumentation engineering in first division at both graduate and post graduate level with work experience in sensor projects.

There is one DRDO JRF Vacancy available for candidates with first class BE/BTech in computer science with NET/GATE qualification or MSc in computer science at both graduate and post graduate level.

There are also 4 JRF vacancies available for candidates with First class BE/BTech in mechanical or metallurgical engineering with NET/GATE qualification. Furthermore, candidates should not exceed 28 years of age as on 10 July 2019. However, the age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC and ST, and 3 years for OBC candidates as per government rules. Candidates should have completed the course and awarded their degree, says the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification. The notification also clearly mentions that the offer of fellowship does not confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO under any circumstances as fellowship is not employment.
