The Dataquest Digital Leadership Conclave and The 26th ICT Business Awards is just around the bend. The event happening on December 11th in New Delhi will see leading lights from the enterprise and the industry.

The founder Chairman of HCL, Shiv Nadar has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the Event.

To set the tone and context for this event, it's all about celebrating 'Digital Leadership' on the demand side of IT. Its also about how the supply side of IT- the key vendors in the ICT space are enabling this transformation by way of solutions and services.

DECODING DATAQUEST DIGITAL LEADERSHIP CONCLAVE 2018

This year's conference theme is: Digital India - Transforming Work, Life & Governance. In a way this sums up the large-scale ramifications, Digital has on our lives. Clearly, Digital India is no more a campaign. It can be called a double-sided national level movement. On one hand, the Govt of India aims to ensure that government services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. On the other hand, large, medium and small organizations are embarking on the Digital Enterprise journey to increase productivity, profitability, market shares, and most importantly customer delight. It is estimated that in 2017-18 fiscal over 23% of the $60 Bn spent on ICT in the Indian domestic market was towards Digital. And that in the coming years this share is only going to go up.

Dataquest Digital India Conference & Awards 2018 will focus on 5 big issues – (i)IT Infrastructure (ii)Cloud; (iii)Security; (iv)Bigdata & Analytics, and (v) Emerging Tech including IoT and AI. These are compelling technologies but continue to throw up challenges before technology and business decision makers in governments and organizations. The conference aims to get the practitioners to share their experiences and help chalk out the future path for Digital India.

We got an overwhelming response to our 'Digital Leader' awards and an editorial jury has selected 52 CIOs and these CIOs will be conferred with 'Technovator of the Year 2018' and Vertical Warriors 2018' awards.

In addition, the 'Dataquest Digital Leaders 2018'  issue will also be released on sidelines of the event which chronicles the Digital initiatives of the award winners in their respective enterprises.
