The Dataquest Digital Leadership Conclave 2018, saw who is who in the Enterprise IT and the ICT industry as they walked the audience through a range of technology forces reshaping the enterprise IT organizations.
In the introductory session, Digital- The Only Solution for Leveraging Change, Sukanta De, Former President, Emerging Business, Tata Teleservices set the context and the tone for the day's discussion by stating that digital is the only way to change our systems and organizations. Continuously adapting to a changing environment and leverage that change to transition to a higher orbit.

The opening keynote session, aptly titled 'Gear Shift' saw leading change agents like Vijay Sethi, CIO, Hero Moto Corp, Golok Kumar Simli, Principal Consultant& Chief of Technology, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India and Dr.J S Sodhi, Group CIO & Sr Vice President-Amity Education Group sharing how Digital is impacting the lives of the individuals as well as organizations across the country.
According to Vijay Sethi, "Digital technologies are here to stay and disrupting each organization. We need to embrace this disruption.CIOs have to play a key role in this journey. One of the things is bringing in the agile culture, and a culture of the data-driven organization, a culture of leadership and a culture which ensures technology is part of the DNA of the organization." Meanwhile, Golok Kumar Simli said, " While leveraging technology, whether public sector or academia or the core enterprise, we need to factor in how do we innovate and experiment and blend with risk and how it impacts the stakeholders.
According to Dr.J S Sodhi, he said that India belongs to all of us. For the progress of our country, we all need to prepare to be informed and engaged as a citizen. So it is important to be cyber aware in today's digital world and contribute in digital progress of our country.

The conference focused on 5 big issues – (i)IT Infrastructure (ii)Cloud; (iii)Security; (iv)Bigdata & Analytics, and (v) Emerging Tech including IoT and AI. These are compelling technologies but continue to throw up challenges before technology and business decision makers in governments and organizations. The conference aims to get the practitioners to share their experiences and help chalk out the future path for Digital India.
The conference WAS curated with an intent to decode the Digital Transformation at ground zero. Hence to understand the digital transformation dynamics at the enterprise level, we reached out to a large base of CIOs cutting across 20 plus verticals and identified key CIOs/CISOs/CTOs and sought their nomination for the Digital Leader – Vertical Warrior 2018 Awards. We asked them how they see digital and how their respective IT organization are getting recalibrated for the new normal Digital economy and how they are aligning this new IT with business goals.
We got an overwhelming response to our ‘Digital Leader’ awards and an editorial jury has selected 52 CIOs and these CIOs were conferred with ‘Technovator of the Year 2018′ and Vertical Warriors 2018’ awards.
CELEBRATING INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE - 26TH ICT BUSINESS AWARDS
While Digital leadership awards celebrate the user community, the ICT Awards celebrate industry excellence in the ICT space. An eminent jury this time has selected the following personalities for the ICT Awards:

There was an engaging fireside chat with the winners moderated by Pradeep Gupta, MD, CyberMedia. In which the ICT Award winners share their entrepreneurial journeys and probably, Ritesh Agarwal becomes the youngest IT Person of the Year with just 25 years an already made a form marl by revolutionizing the market with Oyo.
