Concentrix stands alone with Environmental Certification

Concentrix Corporation is the first company in India – and the first business process management (BPM) company globally – to earn International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification for environmental stewardship.

“We’re extremely proud to be the first company in our industry to receive this certification and it is one more example of our thought leadership and innovation,” said Concentrix President Chris Caldwell. “We continue to invest in the future as it relates to our staff, our clients and the communities we serve.”

The Concentrix environmental management system across India focuses on creating environmental awareness among the company’s staff.  Some of the activities under the environmental management system included a beach cleanup following Ganesh Chaturthi, free vehicle emissions testing at several delivery centers, installing LED lighting, installing a sewage treatment plant and replacing chillers with new energy-efficient systems.

New environmental management system standards – known as ISO 14001 – were released in September 2015. Eight auditors from the British Standards Institute visited 11 of the 14 Concentrix delivery sites in India from Oct. 15-30.

The ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. The ISO facilitates international trade by establishing world-class specifications for products, services and systems. The global standards ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
