"In order for people to want to come to the office, companies must fundamentally reimagine and reconfigure workspaces to provide seamless and immersive collaboration experience. Our collaboration with NVIDIA helps make this possible as we expand our portfolio of AI-powered solutions that unlock the potential of hybrid workers,” said Jeetu Patel, Executive Vice President and General Manager, of Cisco Security and Collaboration.

“Edge AI is playing a vital role in bringing autonomy and improving productivity across many industries. Cisco and NVIDIA have been pioneering the use of AI to enhance collaboration in the workplace, and the new line of products will bring transformative technology to this space,” said Deepu Talla, Vice President of Embedded and Edge Computing, at NVIDIA.

The Room Kit EQX is a state-of-the-art integrated collaboration solution, that streamlines the creation of meeting spaces. Additionally, Cisco's Cinematic Meetings capabilities utilize NVIDIA's Jetson system-on-module to bridge the gap between in-person and remote participants. Here, by minimizing the impact of physical distance, these capabilities, referred to as Distance Zero, create equitable and inclusive meeting experiences. This innovation extends to immersive workspace setups and hybrid presentations, offering attendees a sense of face-to-face collaboration, regardless of their location.

The collaboration between Cisco and NVIDIA, which began in 2015, continues to lead the way in addressing the challenges of workplace collaboration. As flexible work arrangements become more universal, the ongoing development of AI-powered solutions promises to provide a seamless and innovative approach to collaboration.

Hence, the collaboration between Cisco and NVIDIA marks a significant move in unleashing the power of  AI to redefine hybrid workspaces. The introduction of Room Kit EQX and Cinematic Meetings capabilities showcases their commitment to fostering equitable and efficient collaboration in a rapidly evolving work environment.
