Avalara, THE provider of cloud-based tax compliance software for global commerce, today announced the release of a new interface for Avalara TrustFile GST. As a GST Application Service Provider (ASP), Avalara has been helping businesses and tax practitioners in India with GST compliance since August, 2017. This newly added feature will help users integrate TrustFile GST directly with their ERP, allowing TrustFile GST to automatically pull transaction data and create GST returns, as well as generate e-way bills on demand.
The new Application Program Interface (API) has been developed to automate the transaction transmission to TrustFile GST for enterprises. Transactions involving outward and inward supplies, which can be extracted from a source system like an ERP or CRM, can also be performed using this new feature.
The new interface:
- Maintains the identity and grants access control for users within TrustFile GST
- Helps to save transactions through a feed via API into TrustFile GST
- Provides for the authentication of TrustFile GST API users utilizing the TrustFile GST API key, which is generated within the TrustFile GST application
- Reports errors via messages sent as responses to API calls
Harshad Shinde, Product Manager, Avalara, said, “We at Avalara are continuously innovating to offer tax automation solutions to our customers and partners. As companies continue to adapt to India’s new tax regime, a faster and more convenient tax filing system will make GST compliance all the easier. This added feature will provide a synchronized process to make return filing seamless using TrustFile GST.”
