Aspire Systems appoints Senior Leaders from Infosys, Polaris and ASSIST

Aspire Systems - announced the appointments of three new senior leaders, thereby strengthening its leadership team. Sunil Bajaj, formerly with Infosys, has been appointed as Director, Retail. Srinivasa Rao Peyyalamitta, previously with Polaris Financial Technology Limited, has joined Aspire as Vice President, Development Services. Sathappan S, previously with ASSIST as their Regional Director for South Asia, has joined Aspire as Head, Corporate Social Responsibility.

These appointments come at a strategic time when Aspire is further strengthening its position in multiple domains, with a special focus on Retail and BFSI. Furthermore, the company aims to streamline its CSR initiatives, by inducting a formal head for the same.

Commenting on the appointments, Gowri Shankar Subramanian, Co-founder and CEO, Aspire Systems said, “This is an exciting time for us at Aspire. With the goal of aiming to achieve a $100 mn revenue by FY18, the company is amidst an evolution with regard to its services offered globally. Moreover, with these senior leaders like Sunil and Srinivasa coming on board-who have almost two decades of experience in their respective fields-we are looking to further expand our presence with domain-specific offerings for the global market. In addition, it is important to keep in mind that we have to continue to give back to the society and be socially responsible. We therefore felt that it is important to formalize this role in the organization, with the appointment of Sathappan S as the CSR Head.”

Sunil Bajaj brings 15 years of IT experience to Aspire, in delivery and sales enablement in the Retail and CPG value chain, from his previous role at Infosys. He will be driving Aspire’s strategy in the retail domain.

Srinivasa Rao Peyyalamitta has previously worked with Polaris Financial Technology, Virtusa, Oracle, Planetasia and Tata Consultancy Services, and has over 17 years of experience in managing clients and Development and Support Programs for ISVs and enterprises. In his new role at Aspire, he will be driving the Product Engineering practice and Digital Business Services.

Sathappan S has over 12 years of combined experience in the NGO and corporate sectors. He has worked on various developmental projects across Asia, predominantly in India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. He will be focusing on Aspire’s initiatives in contribution to society, with skill development as one of the key areas of focus.
