Amazon launches AmazonNow app for customers in Delhi and Mumbai

Amazon.in has expanded its reach and launched AmazonNow app for customers in Delhi and Mumbai. Using AmazonNow, customers can now shop for over 5000 everyday essentials including fresh fruits, vegetables as well as frozen food items from local favorite stores like Hypercity and Spar and many others including Modern Bazaar, Easy Day, BigBazaar, SRS, my247market.com, where available and have the products delivered to their doorstep within 2 hours or at a pre-scheduled time. Customers can download the AmazonNow Android app from the Play Store and enter their local pin code to start shopping.

And one such offering – AmazonNow has witnessed an amazing uptake by customers in Bangalore. Customers shopping on the AmazonNow app will be able to search, discover and choose from a wide selection of products- across categories including snacks, beverages, cooking staples, beauty, personal care and household basics. They can get a range of products from eggs, breads, juices, soft drinks, chocolates, jams, exotic teas, biscuits to shampoo, toothpastes, soaps , diapers and more from hundreds of Indian and international brands

AmazonNow is enabled with two new delivery services – Express Delivery (two hours) and Scheduled Delivery offering customers the convenience of getting their everyday essentials delivered within 2 hours or at a pre-scheduled time. AmazonNow offers free delivery for baskets above Rs.350, and for baskets lower than Rs.350 a delivery charge of Rs.29 for Scheduled Delivery and Rs.49 for Express Delivery. As a launch promotion in the two cities, there will be no minimum order to avail the free delivery

Customers simply browse the AmazonNow store, add products to their basket, and checkout by choosing Express or Scheduled Delivery.
