A few years back, we thought Industry 4.0 was hyped up and took a very conservative approach to IT. But we had a sea change in that perception and line of thinking by looking at the way Digital started impacting the organization. I would agree with the statement of ‘Go Digital or Perish, as digital transformation is an enterprise-wide initiative with ramifications across the organization. I think ‘Go Digital’ is the way forward for us and holds true for all the enterprises, irrespective of the vertical they operate.

On The Digital Strategy

I think Digital gives the first mover advantage in many things and impact the very bottom line of the company. We have put in place a very structured plan for digital transformation and our approach is to digitize the existing processes as well as usher in a robust Industrial IOT platform.

We are already reaping the dividends of going digital, particularly, on the analytics front we are able to leverage real-time analytics very effectively. So clearly we have a well-defined roadmap for digital transformation and taking into ambit all the stakeholders and the impact it will create across the organization.

I must also say, digital transformation starts from the top and the entire management is involved in this process. A change of this scale calls for the recalibration of the skillsets across and we are reskilling our employees across the board and aligning our human, IT assets to the digital disruption.
