Adobe is betting big on digital marketing in India as the internet penetration in the country is rapidly increasing. The company announced this on the eve of the Adobe Symposium 2016, a digital marketing conference, which it is organizing in Mumbai on 28th April. However, the company announced that it is optimistic about the business growth in India in the wake of the rising internet users and the growing number of banked people in India.
In a conversation, Umang Bedi, Managing Director – South Asia for Adobe, said, “India is becoming digital as the number of Internet users are growing by leaps and bounds. In India, there will be 462 million internet users by June 2016, which means a huge business opportunity. In addition the digital marketing spends are witnessing a huge growth. Our solutions help marketers to offer a simple, intuitive experience to their customers.”
In his presentation, Adobe announced quite a big names as its customers who are expected to be present at the symposium on 28th April. It named customers such as SpiceJet Ltd, Taj Group, IDFC Bank, MakeMyTrip and HDFC Life, who are also set to take the stage at Symposium 2016.
Aseem Chandra who is VP, AEM & Target Business, Adobe shared instances from Indian customers who have transformed the cricket viewing experience through their mobile apps such as CricBuzz and Hotstar. “At Adobe, we believe that standout customer experiences are key to driving meaningful impact and transforming how marketing professionals do business. Our solutions are helping customers to create platforms which are solving real problems. CricBuzz and Hotstar have transformed the viewing experience,” said Chandra.
Adobe in India has radically made moves in the last few years because of its digital approach. Its customers are leveraging its solutions to increase their presence online, social media and mobile space. Today Adobe claims to focus on product innovation as it outlines that its core services integrate with its solutions under one cloud. The solutions include Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Adobe Document Cloud.
Adobe Marketing Cloud, as the company claims, delivers solutions for data-driven marketing whereas Adobe Creative Cloud offers the innovative tools and cloud-based services for creating digital media. Adobe Document Cloud provides a modern way to manage documents at home, in the office and across devices.
