Acadgild becomes Google's certified Authorized Training Partner

Acadgild, the professional online training bootcamp has become one of Google's Authorized Training Partners (ATPs) for Android Developer Course. The course will help mobile app developers to prepare for Google's Associate Android Developers (AAD) Exam, an official certification, which is the industry benchmark for Android development skills. According to a US-based market research firm, India is expected to become the world's largest developer ecosystem by 2018 and the global developer talent pool is projected to exceed 25 mn by 2020.

Android’s global market share is estimated to be around 84.82% and this figure is only set to go up in the coming years. Android powers hundreds of millions of mobile devices in more than 190 countries around the world. Given the exponential growth rate, a career in Android development seems to be the most sought after computer training course in today’s times.

The Android Fundamentals Course is available through Acadgild's instructor-led live and virtual classrooms. Google will certify the trainers as Authorized Android Trainers. Apart from this certification, Google will also share pertinent reference materials, conduct monthly check-in calls with the partner, provide one-time Train the Trainer session if needed, and list the ATP as a partner on their project website.

The individual trainers are expected to possess an Android Nano degree or equivalent industry experience and maintain a high level of quality. Google will likely carry out an audit during one of the sessions to assess the quality of the training programme. Once the course is completed, the candidates who are successful will be certified by AAD. Acadgild will also help in getting them placed in the mobile app industry through their partners.
